JD Edwards Developer - Seacoast NH

Client located in the New Hampshire seacoast area, is seeking a JDE Developer to work closely with functional requirements, as prepared by IT Business Analysts, to design, code, test and implement information systems in support of the Company’s business operations.

Responsibilities include:  technical design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, problem identification and fix, conversion, database design in consultation with DBA and technical documentation.

Work as a member of a team composed of users, analysts, developers, project managers and infrastructure personnel to design cost effective technology solutions in support of functional business requirements.

Several systems / subsystems in use at Company involve packaged vendor solutions.  These positions will test new releases, place new releases into production, develop integration and interface routines, and write reports.

Assist management and the user community in the evaluation of all proposed vendor software packages.

Required:  JD Edwards – support JD Edwards One World development cycle including application modules in support of Human Resources and Payroll, A/P, A/R, G/L, Budget, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Tax. 

Minimum 2 years experience in JD Edwards One World software development environment (JDE/Xe, OMW, Report Writing, C Business Functions). 

High level knowledge in using JD Edwards table structures and business functions.

Data Warehouse – specific skills in extraction, transformation and loading of operational data stores together with OLAP and portal technology.

Crystal Reports – maintain and develop custom reports using Crystal Reports reporting against existing data warehouse tables and JD Edwards One World tables.  Work with user community to define requirements.
Code new reports and test.  Ability to train end user in the use of Crystal Reporting tools so they can develop their own simple reports.

SQL Server – ability to develop and maintain Microsoft  SQL server stored produces and interactive queries.

.Net or Java –  understanding and exposure to Microsoft .Net/C# or Java development environments would be desirable.

Release – ERP 8 knowledge required.

Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of 4 yrs of general development experience or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required skills and abilities.

Knowledge and experience in the use of SQL Server and NT operating systems.

Excellent documentation and project planning experience
Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Ability to prioritize workload, perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment and relate to customers/outside contacts and fellow employees.
