PROCESS ENGINEER
Due to business growth, a small, very well established company with a solid market position is adding to staff. This company is undergoing major capital investment. This position is responsible for leading efforts around Polymerization and Compounding continuous improvement. This engineer will lead projects, be involved in capital equipment selection, introduce new products and be hands on floor support for production. This engineer reports to the Vice President of Operations, a Black Belt. This engineer will participate in, embrace and champion a continuous improvement culture.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
* BS or advanced degree in Plastics, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
* Recent 5 years experience in Process Engineering in a continuous process environment
* Statistical analysis: Six Sigma training or equivalent process improvement tools
* Experience and desire to continue being a hands on manufacturing focused engineer
Assets but not required:
* Knowledge of engineering thermoplastic materials
* Polymerization and Compounding experience
* Experience in leading scale up from lab to production size equipment
* Ability to manage / implement small capital projects
* 6 sigma training or certification
Location: Londonderry / Manchester NH area
Compensation: 65-85 + bonus depending on the depth and breath of industry
