VB/ASP.NET Software Engineer position in Londonderry, NH.

This position is best suited to a self-starter who is eager to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment. The Software Engineer is a key member of our business systems development team responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of the company's client/server and web applications.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
·         Review, analyze and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting and developing programs.
·         Utilize interpersonal and communication skills as an IT professional to train, instruct and educate groups and individuals in a team environment.
·         Interpret and communicate technical programming knowledge to technical and non-technical audiences.
·         Work closely with the end users and management to gather information regarding their business and application integration requirements.
·         Test and debug programs and systems by analyzing them to determine likely problem areas, constructing and using sample data to test programs or systems failure, and rewriting or redesigning program or systems to correct such failures.
·         Write program code and determine appropriate language and environment for the program.
·         Take part in running of EDI systems.
·         Work well within a team
·         Help design and document process and workflow and improve business processes.
·         Handle multiple project responsibilities simultaneously to prioritize work and resolve technical emergencies as they occur.
·         Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff, vendors and users.
·         Lead development of detailed systems and programming specifications. 
·         Read and analyze technical information to determine the usefulness of hardware and software to CRM applications.

 Required Technical Skills:
·         VB,, Javascript, HTML, DHTML, C#
·         Crystal Reports, SQL query syntax and data reporting/analysis
·         Database design, especially for data warehouses, SQL server
·         Implementation of object oriented client-server and web applications
·         Experience with high volume, mission critical applications and databases

Education and Experience Guidelines:

·         Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems (or similar) with 4 to 6 years of work experience matching the Required Skills and Job Responsibilities noted above
·         Strong analytical skills
·         Strong written and oral communication skills
·         Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
