Principal Hardware Design Engineer - Southern NH

Our client, located in Southern NH is seeking a Principal Hardware Design Engineer to participate on project design teams developing DC through RF frequency analog and digital circuitry for radio communication products, including initial documentation and full transition into production. Promote and practice world-class engineering development methodologies and principles to ensure eloquent design, functionality, reliability, testability, manufacturability, and maintainability.   US Passport required and the ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance.  Excellent salary and benefits.

Requirements:
* 12+ years designing and implementing analog and digital circuits in a design-for-manufacturing environment where end products successfully transitioned to long-term volume production.
* Highly motivated, efficient, and enterprising with an inherent ability to drive tasks and projects to full completion.
* Experienced with digital circuit (logic) design utilizing TTL and CMOS logic families.
* Experience with system and subsystem integration, debug, and test.
* Experience with circuit analysis and synthesis simulation software.
* Experience in multi layer PCB design and layout environments.
* The ability to write effective hardware design qualification and production test specifications.
* MS in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years of experience or equivalent blend of education and experience.
* Low voltage, low power circuit design. Two-way radio design experience in a micro-controller based environment.
* Project development experience in an ORCAD environment.
* Superior debug and board level verification of integrated prototype hardware and software
* Experience developing system and subsystem design specifications.
* Ability to solve complex problems that involve multiple technologies and platforms.
* Experience with the implementation of DSP components for wireless communication systems and with designs based on FPGA and PLD technology preferred.
