Denis, when will your cousins be there? I'd be glad to take them shooting
They'd be mighty appreciative of your hospitality.... especially as the wife and I don't have any guns (but please, don't tell the other Free-Staters ;) )
Anyway... thanks!

Michael & John will be at PF Friday 6/23 to Monday 6/26

We will be leaving mid-day on Saturday 6/24. Or 24/6, "Over There".  ;)  We'll try to work it in somehow.

Does anyone have directions to the sand pit?

My name is Joe Meade. I have been a member of the FSP since early 2003 and was one of the people who voted to make New Hampshire the choice for the Free State, but this will be my first time at the festival. (In fact this will be my 1st time in NH, since looking at colleges there almost 20 years ago; I wound up going to Villanova which is much closer to where I grew up & where I live now).

I have a friend who's going for the first time, also. I don't want o post his name w/o permission, but I will introduce him to people who meet me when I get there. He is not an FSPer (at least not yet!) bu he is a Libertarian & very sympathetic to the FSP.

Thanks!

I'm sure my friend & I will both have a good time.

Should I bring food for the whole week (assuming I don't want to get most of my meals form the snack bar) or is there a grocery store nearby?

Joe.

The campgrounds office has a little general store with food items. The town (just a few miles down the road) has slightly larger stores with slightly more food items.

Hi everyone
I am from sunny FLA, and will be attending Porcfest for the first time.  In fact, it is my first time to NH, and I'm really looking forward to it!

By slightly, he means like 4-5 times larger!  Oh, and the package store in town is stocked full of drinks!

More than slightly larger.  The Lancaster Shaw's is a fairly standard full size supermarket.  Not a bad selection of beers.  Shares its parking lot with the State liquor store.

BTW,

My first name is actually John (I usually go by "Joe" short for my middle name Joseph). I just thought I'd mention it so that anyone who saw my full name on the "We'll Be There!" list  would know that, yes, that is me.

Joe.

I see Greg Helledy has posted his name on the "We'll Be There" list now, too. He is the "potential Porcupine" I mentioned before.

Thanks Ward...I mean this will only be my 4th year running in Lancaster, and thought I remembered a full size grocery store, but seemed like the other folks know more than me? ???

Actually there are several fairly descent restuarants in Lancaster too.
