Visiting
« on: May 13, 2005, 06:12:02 pm »

I'll be staying in Manchester from tomorrow evening (May 14th) to Monday eveing (May 16th) for business.  I'll definitely have the whole day Sunday to explore around the Merrimack region.  If anyone would like to meet up, please let me know.  I'll have a rental car, and would be willing to drive to Nashua, Keene, etc.

Look forward to coming to NH and checking out the scene.  I currently reside in Manhattan and need a breath of fresh air.

kuhllax24,

Do you know about the FSP Welcome Wagon - there is an FSP contact person for that area listed here:
http://www.freestateproject.org/community/welcomewagon/  There are calendar links on that page too to help you look for events.

Check in with her - there may be Porcupine or NH organization social events, meetings that you would be welcome to attend.  There's a lot going on in NH!

If you want to visit Keene, please let us know. We will be glad to get together with you.
You won't even remember what Manhattan traffic looks like after you travel out to Grafton or down our way to Keene. 8)

Thanks everyone for the speedy replies.

SethCohn, thank you very much for inviting me to the cookout, but it looks like it's a little too far away for me (I'm staying in downtown Manchester).  I'll only have one day to explore and don't want to drive up to Grafton and back.

Russell, I think I'll take you up on your offer.  I've heard a lot of great things about Keene on this board, and I've met at least 3 people from Keene in Manhattan, who really miss home.  Do you have a telephone number, at which I can reach you?  I'd probably swing out there in the late afternoon, early evening.  Please let me know what fits your schedule.

Thanks,

Dan

Cathleen.  I got your e-mail and your phone number.  I'll call you tomorrow morning.  I'd love a tour of Manchester.
