Membership Dues
« on: August 01, 2002, 02:44:56 am »

I was thinking of how the FSP might be able to make some money and I came up with a unoriginal idea...
I think it would be wise at some point (maybe not right now) to offer some kind of program were members can pay $X a month and get: A monthy printed newsletter in the mail.  If the pay $Y p/ month you get a newsletter a bumbersticker, and a mug.  If you pay $Z p/ month you get all the above plus a book and get entered in a monthly drawing.

Those are just examples but I think something along those lines would be a sufficient source of revenues, especially when membership increases.

But of course membership to FSP and the message boards would remain ABSOLUTLY FREE.

Well then, those are some of the things I think would be good in such a program.  I just thought of another thing:  Maybe for a couple of dollars a month "freestateproject.com" e-mail addresses could be offered.

I would like to join the PubFin comittee,  sence at this time I'm most interested in getting the FSP word out, which of course needs money to do so.
