I check John Gatto's site fairly regularly but hadn't in several months.  This was new to me and interesting ...

Interesting. Thanks for posting that, Jean. We've moved so far away from "for most of American history American children were reared to expect to create their own workplaces". I'd love to see some free staters create a school that teaches children to be self-employed. :D
