Youth-oriented Porcupine activities/games?
« on: November 11, 2002, 11:39:57 am »

Since I'm not a youth I don't post in this category a lot, but I have been reading the messages from those of you who are.  It is *so awesome* to see young people whose minds have not been successfully infected by the Nanny Staters running so many of our public schools.  I wish there were more of you.

I also wish we had more Porcupine activities going on that were fun for teenagers.  We do have a thread going discussing the idea of getting a bunch of us into the same online game:

My preference is Star Wars Galaxies, but I'd consider going to any decent game that has a lot of us in it:.  So far this idea hasn't gotten off the ground but if enough of you are interested, it will!

Here, Here!  I have been home-schooled ever since 2nd Grade.  The public school systems are there to help kids on there way to become complete sheeple (people who allow themselves to be herded around like sheep without question).  I've just finished a book called Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury that's all about firemen who burn books because if people read these books they might think independently.  The public schools forbid you to read Fahrenheit 451 because you might think independently.  The public schools are an OUTRAGE to education.

Speaking of Star Wars Galaxies, when is that due out? I've heard that it's supposed to be pretty amazing. Something like Everquest gone sci-fi.
