Peterborough query....
« on: March 27, 2004, 11:39:05 am »

Dear FSPers,
I've been scouting around N.H. for quite some time with a mind to relocate-- sooner rather than later.  One of the prime spots of interest to me is Peterborough, and I'm wondering if any Members, Friends, or Fellow Travelers in or near that locality would care to venture any personal observations concerning how things go there.
My primary activity is that of a painter (classically-trained, independent fine artist), and if a situation soon breaks for me there, any relevant information would aid me in coming to a decision.
Any respondents may direct a private message through the Forum.
                                                 Cheers,

Peterborough is pretty, but they are also zoning nazis.... There is a LOT of money there, and it is easy to get to Keene or Manchester. It's quite common for celebs to have a vacation home in Peterborough, so don't be suprised if you see some familiar looking faces there... ;)
But Sharon is right outside of Peterborough, and PJ O'Rourke lives in Sharon so it can't be TOO bad... ;)

Thanks, Jim!
I hope all is going well for you.
I expect to be up in that neck of the woods within a week or two to investigate a few prospects.
                                             Cheers, and Prosperity,
