Applications for President
« on: October 05, 2003, 10:26:24 am »

The Board of Directors is now accepting applications for President of the
Free State Project.  We are looking for candidates with several qualities:

1) Experience or know-how in volunteer management;
2) Ability to speak intelligently with the media, on radio, on TV, etc.;
3) Ability to unite all the different kinds of Porcupines (Western and
Eastern, anarchist and minarchist, Christian and atheist, etc.);
4) Will be moving to NH within a few months, as we'd like to have an
office there.

The perks we can offer are free high-speed Internet access and
reimbursement for at least a very substantial proportion of moving
expenses to NH.  A salary is possible down the road, but we don't quite
have the cash for that quite yet.  As President, you would have full
executive autonomy but would be accountable to the Board of Directors.

If you're interested, please send your resume to Mary Lou Seymour at
"Educate your children, educate yourselves, in the love for the freedom of others, for only in this way will your own freedom not be a gratuitous gift from fate. You will be aware of its worth and will have the courage to defend it." --Joaquim Nabuco (1883), Abolitionism

Applications are still being accepted!

Please note that I am serving as interim president,  the term position for president is still not filled.
