New site: http://freestatemesh.net

Series of agenda-driven meet ups planned after Liberty Forum. I think the info for those are on the new site.

From the organizer:

I've scheduled the working meetups. They start February 14th at 5:30-7 and for the foreseeable future they'll be every other Thursday thereafter.

We're meeting in Manchester.

with what you have
from where you are

called two more local talk radio shows to update them with your url
One thing that always is at the back of my mind though when I hear about some new liberty project in manchester.    there was going to be a paper, then a free manch , and however many other big projects i've forgetton because they never happend.  the projects were apparently too big to sustain and ended up seemingly just being a bunch of meetings for months.    what i'm really hoping to see is just... something like two routers in two houses connected with a tiny but real mesh network functional.  do you have something like that which is worth mentioning to the public?   sorry, I should look at the website closer.  going there now.

Not really looking for MOPs right now, rather folks interested in development, experimenting, testing, designing the governance model, etc., but thanks for your efforts. Please read up on the info sent to you when you signed up on FreeStateMesh.net. I think there's a good explanation of where the project is and what is needed at this stage.

After reading the material ^^ ;) , you'll probably find that we are not looking for the public at this stage. I hope what you find there helps clarify.

Last ForkFest and PorcFest - 5 previously favored wireless routers hooked up and meshing. Last Thursday, 2 new brand wired routers flashed with new firmware and successfully operational on new mesh software. Next introductory meeting (12 Mar) is mentioned on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/events/2030688050377671/), and the next working session follows (14 Mar) for people who want to join in to work on the project.

Patrick presented some intro info at the MVP meeting yesterday noon-time at Murphy's and we had an evening informal discussion of governance issues at a private club.
