Executive Assistant & Asst. Project Manager

Who We Are:
Camp Cody is part of a camping heritage that goes back to 1926. Who We're Looking For:
The Executive Assistant’s primary role is performing administrative duties for the Camp Director and the Leadership Team in a very fast paced environment where the ability to multitask with accuracy is essential.  Additionally, this role includes the management and execution of several projects ranging in complexity and length. 

You’re Great At:   
•   Preparing, editing and coordinating business development and marketing materials.
•   Drafting “follow up” emails for the Camp Director.
•   Screening and routing telephone calls for the Camp Director.
•   Preparing and coordinating materials for conferences and other meetings.
•   Managing and maintaining the Camp Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments & meetings.
•   Providing personal administrative support for the Camp Director.
•   Maintaining Camp Director and Company’s social media and website.
•   Registering and updating company’s supplier diversity credentials with clients, partners, certifying agencies and government agencies.
•   Coordinating travel, lodging and meeting arrangements for members of the Leadership Team.
•   Performing independent research and preparing information for special projects, as assigned.
•   Communicating effectively and smoothly with executives and their assistants from outside companies—contacts include, clients, corporate partners, and vendors.
•   Providing general administrative support for the Leadership Team including faxing, filing, photocopying, mail, email, and communications.
•   Working on multiple projects simultaneously.
•   Performing other special projects as needed.

•   4+ years of recent experience in a similar position, supporting a senior level executive.
•   BA/BS degree highly preferred and/or professional certification.
•   Expertise in the Microsoft Office 2007 Suite, including Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
•   Proven time management skills, with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure.
•   Excellent oral and written communication skills, including excellent spelling, proofreading and editing skills.
•   Outstanding organizational ability and attention to detail.
•   Direct experience dealing with sensitive and conflicting situations in a diplomatic manner.
•   Emotional and intellectual maturity.
•   Strong work ethic.
•   Aptitude to work independently as well as in a team environment.
•   Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgment.
•   Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
•   Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues.
•   Capacity to work independently, take initiative, follow through, and be self-directed with the ability to ask questions and seek answers when follow-up is required.
•   Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality and discretion.
•   Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures.
•   Ability to develop strong working relationships with people at all levels.
•   Proficient in executing multiple projects with deadlines effectively and with precision.
•   Aptitude towards executing responsibilities with a sense of urgency and follow-through.

This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with level of expertise and years of experience.
