Chemical plants in NH
« on: August 30, 2011, 02:28:31 am »

I've got a MS in Chemical engineering and want to start over in a new field than my current one. My current experience is in the semiconductor industry, but want to master chemical plant design/engineering.
What are some good chemical plants to check out in NH? Right now, it doesn't matter to me which kind.

Just thought I'd throw this out there before inspecting all the potential places on my own.

Thanks!

Well, there is Lonza Biologics in Portsmouth, Freudenberg NOK in Bristol, Alene Candles (can't recall where they are), and ThermoFisher in Portsmouth, they are specific industries, but there's not much in the way of chemical manufacturers up here. Stonyfield Farm Yogurt would also be a place to consider, depending on what they're looking for, though they tend to be looking for folks with food science experience.  There was another place that made adhesives down in Nashua or Merrimack too just cant remember the name right now
