Interesting property
« on: January 03, 2010, 10:34:20 am »

I have finally figured out that if I want to find good properties, I need to go to realtors' individual websites rather than rely on MLS - the cheaper ones simply don't come up in my searches!

I am posting this because it looks like a great place without enough farmland for my use, but certainly would work for another potential porcer!!

Taxes are high for the price, but I would think it would get reassessed. Plus, the land is probably not in CU.

Yeah, Henniker has pretty high taxes, but it is a college and ski town so the high taxes aren't unexpected.  Hillsborough, the town right next to it, has noticeably lower taxes.  Hillsborough has a lake without a lot of houses that are used seasonally to keep the taxes down.

Stats on Henniker

There are a couple of properties for sale in Grafton that look interesting:

The 56 acre parcel looks good with some cleared areas, and a lot of woods.  I would be happy to show these to anyone.
