Anyone from the North Shore of Long Island?
« on: August 16, 2009, 07:00:36 pm »

I am trying to find an area of NH that closely resembles the towns and neighborhoods of the North Shore of Long Island.  Think Port Jefferson neighborhoods with a rural feel, 1/2 acre lots, and possibility with walking distance to town.

Wow.  I'm currently staying in Pelham, New York, and there are TONS of towns like you describe.  I wouldn't know where to begin, describing towns.  Your best bet would be to find a porcmanor that will let you stay by the night/week/month, and just tour the seacoast, Merrimack Valley (around Manchester), Nashua, and north country.  You are sure to find some great towns up here that are worth settling into.

Be sure to sign up and pledgebank.com/Next1000 and also update your address on this site when you move up.

We'd love to have you around.
