1800 Farm House in Grafton needs a Handyman
« on: December 28, 2006, 04:51:23 pm »

I have a listing for a bank-foreclosed house in Grafton.  It is a project, and has been vandalized.  But it still could be a nice home (2600 sq.ft.)  Three story barn attached, stone walls surrounding property. Just a mile from Rt. 4 on Turnpike Rd.  0.8 acres of land, according to the town.

How much repair is needed and is it livable while you work on it?

I would not call it currently live-able.  Work needs to be done to repair pipes before the water can be turned back on, and the pipes from the boiler were all removed so there is no heat.  There is, however, a woodstove in the living room.  But without running water and working toilet, it would be tough.

Went to both websites without luck.  The nnerenmls hyperlink didn't work; and I went to your home page "Davesellsnh.com" and I couldn't find the property.  What's the MLS number?

How can running water be over rated? I rank it right up there with the wheel and fire.
