After reconsidering, I have submitted my candidacy to Jason.

I don't mean to be rude, but how did you resolve the 'conflict of interest' issue?

No problem, I understand you're competing.

It should be pretty obvious if I try to vote myself some largesse.

Good point.  You can always abstain from voting on conflicting issues.

Yes, I volunteered myself, but the competition is pretty fierce.

That temperament clause leaves out some of us ........ besides I think that Steve Cobb has a 7,000 mile restraining order against me. ;)
Just 6,000 miles since your performance in that SS card burn.  You sound a lot more lucid live than in e-mail. ;)

Another Board opening
« Reply #32 on: February 05, 2006, 10:17:00 am »

We are holding another vote for the board seat vacated by Evan Nappen last year.  As with the last vote, the voting body consists of
the coordinators and organizers of the FSP, everyone mentioned on this page: http://freestateproject.org/about/organization.php.  This group is slightly different from the last vote due to some updates to the org chart.

Anyone who is a participant and of the age of majority in Nevada (18) is eligible to run. Submit your candidacy to me by February 10th; the coordinators will then vote, and the results will be announced after February 17th.

If you meet the eligibility requirements and have the time, energy, and temperament for the job, please consider running for the open Board seat.

I suggest we expand the board and I nominate Jon Maltz and Brian Sullivan.  Had I known guys like these two and Morrey were running before I would not have thrown my hat in.

Listen Russell....Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure it wont hold up in a court of law, but my preliminary investigation
strongly suggests that Friday is, Friday! ;D

Just figured that more people know me longer as "Friday", Russell.  I will provide my name, email address and home phone number to the voting body, so that they can ask me whatever questions they like at their convenience.   :)

Last call for candidates!

I need to hear from any other potential candidates before midnight.  Voting by the coordinators and organizers of the FSP begins tomorrow.  Our current candidates are:  Tim Condon, Ian Bernard, Lynn Pina, Sandy Pierre, and Jon Maltz.

FYI
