oh and the leftist masshole myth is just that apparently.  union leader poll plus sorens ideological map of NH indicates mass immigrants are republicans and the areas where they move have the most libertarian state reps.

mike sylvia, who maybe you can find on facebook, can give you a lot of insights on the workings of the town of Belmont in that region and maybe advice on what triggers them vs what keeps them out of your hair.

Thanks for the info. I found this recent article on moves to get 5G in Keene. But it Doesn't mention health concerns.

However, this subsequent article ( says that Keene bureaucrats are actively beginning the process to bring 5G to Keene. And it does include mention of health concerns:

Councilor Terry M. Clark, who isn’t a committee member, expressed concerns about potential health risks of implementing 5G. He argued that the technology’s high-frequency electromagnetic fields with short wavelengths could be harmful, causing effects such as “a burning sensation” on the skin and infertility in bees and other animals.

“I’m not trying to say that the sky is falling or anything like that,” Clark said, “but this is a brand new technology that we’re using for cellphones and that we’re putting up to our ears.”

Because the waves from small cells don’t travel as far as current cell towers, a network would require more to be installed in greater density, which Clark said is alarming. While acknowledging the benefits of high-speed Internet access, he urged his colleagues to research the potential health risks before their next meeting.

High-frequency fields can cause vibration of charged or polar molecules in the body, resulting in friction and heat, according to the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection, which has developed exposure guidelines used by governments around the world. The body can accommodate a small increase in heat, the commission’s website says, similar to what happens when playing a sport.

Nodding to the considerable research that’s been done on the relationship between high-frequency fields and health outcomes, the commission writes that “this research to date has not shown any such health effects.”

Bobby Williams, a councilor-elect for Ward 2, offered a few thoughts on the draft ordinance, including a second to Clark’s public health concerns.

Later in the meeting, City Attorney Thomas P. Mullins cautioned the committee not to stray too far into the health questions of radio frequencies — the city has to be careful to stick to what’s allowed under the FCC order, he said, adding that city staff doesn’t have medical expertise.

Unfortunately the reality is 5G is going to be everywhere. Except west palm beach and Israel. Any guesses why?  ;) we in the rural areas (not Keene) might not get cell towers every 15 feet, we will get the satellite side of the service.  Remember when they made fun of the people that will be wearing tinfoil hats one day. Those would be us.

That Granite State Futures website is informative. Do we have any politicians in New Hampshire calling for HUD to be abolished? (And 95% of the rest of the federal government that isn't authorized by the U.S. Constitution, of course.)

Speaking of loss of private property rights in New Hampshire, I noticed that Gov. Chris Sununu signed a bill or two bills into law last October, the transgender "rights" law, i.e. entitlement to be on other people's property and empowerment to impose involuntary associations, and law that bans "conversion therapy" among licensed practitioners (keyword "licensed"), i.e. anti-freedom of speech law. Sununu signed these just weeks before his reelection.

I wonder if Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Darryl Perry would have signed such bills into law. Does Perry even address the notion of "social justice" legislation? I would support him for governor nevertheless. Sununu is a phony and a typical statist, I think. (By the way, I'm not anti-LGBT, although I'm not sure about the T part of that, I'm just pro-property rights and freedom of association/non-association.)

And another thing on property rights, there was an excellent article on Free Keene, (, regarding state rep. Mike Sylvia who is apparently being harassed by Belmont zoning bureaucrats and a judge for having an RV on his own property, and possibly as punishment for his votes as a state representative. ("Democracy" is a nasty business. Just look how the "Democrats" in Washington have been responding to 2016 election results!)

I hope there are enough people in NH with the principles to continue to stand up for private property rights. I'm still in the Boston area and I'm having second thoughts about NH. But that's where I'd really like to be, and have spent much of the past 7 years invested in that, emotionally anyway. What happened to the "Live Free or Die" state?

I gotta say, NH is far better than MA (former MA resident here) any day. TBH, if you want more freedom, you may want to look outside of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Have you ever heard of David Straight? Check him out. He may blow your mind.
