Title: Definitely interested, just need some time.
Post by: Gwynne on March 06, 2004, 02:37:59 pm
This definitely looks like something I would love to participate in.  My husband and I have had plans to leave Michigan in the next 5 or so years, I'm absolutely disgusted with this state and what's currently going on in this country.  My husband and I live what would be considered and alternative lifestyle and we want the freedom to do as we please without our lifestyles being outlawed by some nosy government official who can't leave well enough alone.  I'll be browsing around the site and forume for sometime before commiting, but it's definitely something I'll be spending a lot of time looking at!

Welcome, Gwynne!  We'd love to have you, so let us know if we can answer any questions.

It looks like this group meets in your part of the world, if you're interested in talking to any porcupines in person.

There is also at least one yahoo group of freestaters involved in alternative type of lifestyles.  Not sure if this was the type of lifestyle you were referring to, though.

Hi there Gwynne

For some other nice info on N.H., here's a link I think is great

http://www.lpnh.org/101/index.html (http://www.lpnh.org/101/index.html)

It's not as much about the FSP as some of the reasons N.H. was a great choice.

I don't live much of any alternative lifestyle ... but almost did :D and know it seemed rather presumptuous of our current government to assume it can tell people how they must live their personal lives.  A lot of people preach "liberty and freedom" but then do the exact opposite when it comes to real issues.

Have fun
