Title: Export? Or sell to the local population?
Post by: rodschmidt on September 25, 2003, 02:58:06 am
I only see three sources of money:  in-state, out-of-state, and government.  (Apart from counterfeiting  :o)

We are philosophically opposed to accepting government money, I think, and I expect they will be philosophically opposed to giving it to us.  :P

By definition, we are trying to add a lot of people to a community with a small population.  How much of their disposable income can they redirect to our businesses?

So we ought to focus on businesses whose customers will be out-of-state.

Also, we ought to discover what money is presently flowing out-of-state, and create competing in-state businesses to keep that money in-state.

If you want to get a job in an existing business, then plan on a long commute, because we'll have to spread ourselves as widely as possible, getting out-of-state jobs as well as in-state jobs.  Remember, the point is to LIVE and VOTE in the free state.  An in-state job will be a luxury.
