Title: dating/marriage
Post by: Danarchist on September 07, 2018, 07:48:54 pm
Considering the fact that there are more male libertarians than female, would it make more sense to find a spouse first, then move to NH, or move and then find a spouse? What is the dating situation like over there?

The growth of the freedom movement is influenced by conversion and conception. You think the Latter-Day Saints would be so numerous if they didn't value children? If males outnumber females 2 to 1, it won't help our growth when half the males can't procreate with a libertarian female.

I'm not saying I would want to indoctrinate my kids; I just assume that when given access to multiple ideas, given information about how freedom works that (s)he'll not get from society at large, and having one's own self-ownership respected, a child would likely prefer freedom.

Move, then date. Even the natives are libertarian, even if they wouldn't use that word. You won't have to indoctrinate your kids - political ideology is (60% - 70%) genetic.

I agree. Then you don't have to convince your new spouse to move.
