The IRS is like those Red Light Cameras. One day you get a notice in the mail that you owe money to some place far away from you, and you have no say in the matter.

What are "red light cameras," exactly?  Cameras that only see in the red spectrum?

NH might not have them, but many states have installed what is called the "Red Light Safety Camera Program" which is these cameras that catch you running red lights, then they mail a letter to your house saying you have to pay X amount of money which goes to a private company, I think in Colorado, and you can bet local officials get a portion of the money. Essentially it is completely illegal extortion.

NH does not have them.  They, and speed cameras, are both illegal here.

My point was that, just because something exists, does not mean it must exist everywhere.
