Title: Social Events
Post by: The Rising Populist on August 06, 2011, 12:28:47 pm
I would like to get more involved, but as a college student there is also a social aspect to this. I am in Massachusetts and attend school right on the NH border, and so I would really like to get involved provided there were also lots of young people my age to get involved with. Preferably beautiful, smart, highly opinionated, outspoken, single libertarian women.

From what I can tell the FSP appears to be a middle-aged game? I just want to know that there are regular events, political or otherwise, where there would be regular opportunities for me to meet people. The main website only has like 3 events listed that happen once per year each.

P.S. This is my only reservation...I am very eager to participate so long as the social aspect is likely to be fulfilled.

Free Keene (http://forum.freekeene.com/) averages younger than other groups within NH.  Manchester would probably be the runner-up, if you're looking for the younger crowd (average probably isn't all that young, but the sheer numbers mean there are numerically-more young folks).

We have social activities ALL THE TIME! There are more than any one person can attend.  Here in the Manchester area, you can meet up with folks about any night of the week.  We can also arrange lunchtime meetups if that's to your liking.

There are some available, attractive, intelligent libertarian women out here, but the competition is stiff.

There is a bi-weekly social mixer in Nashua, close to you. If you send me your personal email via PM, I can fwd to you some events. Better yet, join the Facebook groups and add a bunch of FSP peeps as Facebook friends, and you will never be short of things to do in NH.

Mark

P.S. Come help a new mover unload the truck in exchange for free pizza/beer on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Manchester. Helping someone = instant friends and networking.

Why do yo call yourself PopularDemocracy4Liberty? That sounds like a contradiction. I am not a fan of democracy because mob rule is not in line with liberty.

Depends upon the level of democracy.

If we vote on everything, and set the standard so that, in order to win, a proposal requires 100% approval, then it's completely in-line with liberty.
