CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Revenues have been just about on target through the first six months of New Hampshire's fiscal year.

That's good news for the governor and lawmakers as they begin preparing the state budget for the next two years.

Administrative Services Commissioner Linda Hodgdon said Tuesday that tax receipts in December were $900,000 below estimates. But she said the state did not get $9 million it expected to get in December and will instead get the money in January.

With that $9 million, the state will be right on target for the year. So far, it has taken in $861 million.
