Title: Registration up and running--sign up now!
Post by: kater on April 23, 2006, 09:45:30 pm
Hey y'all.

You may have noticed the new site going up (this evening, I believe).  Seems like a good time to remind folks to get to the registration page (http://freestateproject.org/festival/bethere2006.php) and sign up so we know you're coming.  And don't forget to call Roger's for your campsite/motel registration--603-636-1062.

Title: Register for the festival and call Roger's for your site!

Hey folks,

Just a friendly reminder for those who, like myself, put this stuff off until the last minute...  I'm going to go with the hard sell here: get yourself on the We'll Be There list if you expect to eat. ;)  Seriously, I'm using the list as a general count for our dinners, and I'd hate to have a restless crowd of armed libertarians with stomachs growling in the north country.

Also, get on the phone and call Roger's to make your reservations.   They don't bite.

Go to the festival page (http://freestateproject.org/festival) for more updates; details on speakers and meals are on the way!

Ward,

I don't know if you've seen it on the schedule, but there's a cook-off sponsored by the Liberty Ladies on Saturday night--from what I hear abour your chili, you'd be quite a contender. ;)

LOL.  You don't have to be a lady; that's why it's sponsored by the Ladies.   :-*

I guess I can drag some of the stuff to wherever the cook-off is on Saturday -- but I'll be cooking the stuff Friday and Sunday as well.  Another market test to back up my business plan.  This time I'll have a stack of feedback forms so I won't have to depend on word of mouth and my own faulty memory.

Ward,

Will you have vegan items on the menu for Fri. and Sat. eve dinners?

Best, Michael

I'm planning on vegan burgers, vegan meatloaf, vegan ribs, and vegan roast.

I'd offer more vegan menu items, but I've run out of vegans to butcher.

Tacky, Kev.

Just because of that, I will indeed add a pot of chili based on lentils and mushrooms to the beef and pork batches I'd already planned.
