I've compared several from Atlanta - and am going to keep watch for the next Atlanta - Boston deal from Airtran.

There are plenty of flights between Manchester and Atlanta, in fact, some of the cross country flights out of Manchester I've taken have flown to Atlanta as the first hop, because it's the cheapest routing.

Just sent my husband up to NH on an Atlanta to Manchester flight. To get there from here was an all day affair, with a plane change in Chicago.
Coming back is only a 1/2 day - switching in DC.

Pricing seems to be better when paired w/ hotel or car on travelocity, so I'll just try off and on to see where something hits on my schedule.
Maybe that's the real appeal of the ATL-Boston flights - that I can go direct, and time things to suit.

If you fly to Logan International Airport, Boston (BOS), then the car drive is about 1hr (if traffic is minimal) to get to Concord, NH.

If you fly to Manchester-Boston Regional (MHT), then the drive is about 20minutes to Concord, NH.

No, I'm talking about direct flights to Atlanta... I know Delta and Continental fly direct, for example.

According to Orbit, the following places have direct flights to MHT (I removed duplicates using lesser name airlines, which likely are the same flights sold by partners):  http://www.orbitz.com/flight-info/NH/MHT-flights-1.html

Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Toronto, Canada (YYZ) on Air Canada
Average travel time is 1 hour and 41 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Cleveland (CLE) on Continental Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 40 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Cleveland (CLE) on Delta Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 39 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Cleveland (CLE) on Northwest Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 40 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Cincinnati (CVG) on Continental Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 57 minutes

Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Cincinnati (CVG) on Northwest Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 57 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Detroit (DTW) on Continental Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 38 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Detroit (DTW) on Northwest Airlines

Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Newark (EWR) on Continental Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 12 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Newark (EWR) on Delta Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 14 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Newark (EWR) on Northwest Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 11 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Charlotte (CLT) on America West Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 59 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Washington (DCA) on America West Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 23 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Philadelphia (PHL) on America West Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 20 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Nashville (BNA) on ATA Airlines
Average travel time is 2 hours and 7 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Baltimore (BWI) on ATA Airlines
Average travel time is 1 hour and 17 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Las Vegas (LAS) on ATA Airlines
Average travel time is 4 hours and 50 minutes
Flights to Manchester (MHT) from Chicago (MDW) on ATA Airlines

Yes, it varies, sometimes Boston flights are cheaper (right now, it's up to $100 cheaper for Boston according to Travelocity for the cheapest flight), but the travel time out of Boston adds at least an hour or two _each_ way, and Logan is NOT as quiet an airport, which means you will spend more time in search lines while there... so my guess is that Logan will cost you at least 5-6 more hours of your time, not to mention gas/etc.  At $100, it might be worth that difference for a couple travelling ($200 difference), but if the difference is only $25-50 dollars, what is your time/etc worth?  I'd pay $25 more to avoid the drive to Logan, and have.

As Jon mentioned, from wikipedia:
A high-frequency shuttle bus pilot program, offered free of charge to ticketed airline passengers, began on November 13, 2006. The bus runs every two hours, 24 hours a day, between the airport, the Anderson Regional Transportation Center in Woburn, Massachusetts, and the Sullivan Square subway station in Boston. The service will operate for a six-month period, after which it will be evaluated by the airport.[2]

Generally speaking the flights into Logan are cheaper...and you  have a larger
selection of direct flights.  Also, you have a chance to see a little of NH.

Ok, so if you come up I95 you get to see a llitte of my area...The Seacoast
Region! ;D

Well, if you haven't had enough advice, I'll throw in some more. I've done it all ways, and I know the price differentials (and schedules, cars, drive times). I will NEVER do Logan again if there is a Manchester option. None of it is worth the headaches that Boston/airport/terminals/tunnels/traffic....... are sure to provide.

Pricing seems to be better when paired w/ hotel or car on travelocity,
and remember the cost is pretty cheap for the hotel when booking via the Liberty Forum site. ;D

AirTran has good internet specials going.  You can go from Atlanta to Boston on Wed or Th for $59 and return on Mon for the same price.  Memphis is $10 more each way.  If you don't have to be at work 1st thing Monday, this is a good deal.  Since Atlanta is the main hub, the flights may be direct (only 2-3 hours).

I am.  I just did my final booking yesterday (the flight) but it was with a different airline (at 4x the price) because it will be hard enough missing just 4 college classes.

Actually, for those that read NH Underground, it is my way of saying that I voted for AirTran to start flights to Manchester :)
