I live in New-hampshire on a freehold
« on: February 07, 2018, 09:19:31 pm »

For more than 13 years a man in New-hampshire has lived on his land and hasn’t paid a dime in property tax nor has this man pulled any permits for buildings or clearing trees. The land is considered wetlands.  The town took the matter to Hillsborough County superior court twice, and lost both times. The town tried Merrimack county and was tossed out at the town in question lies within Hillsborough County.  The town tried calling in the federal EPA but that went nowhere as well.

Now the expirement he began 13 years ago is deemed to be successful.
He also beats up on banks that try to foreclose of homeowners.
I tried to get a spot to speak at the freedom fest as I am a charter member of the FSP but no reply to to my request was forthcoming.

I am prepared to make myself available at freedom fest this week should anyone out there wish to learn more about this incredible story that proves many things about the fakeness of government today.  603)265-0403 is my cell number.  Text messages are the best way to contact me for more details and schedule a meet up.

50 views and no replies of contact.  Is the free state project really a viable organization these days?   You’d think someone actually living free in the free state would be big news.  Sadly seems no one cares.

Hi Mike. Sounds very interesting. I usually only visit here once or twice a week. A lot of members would likely like to hear more from you. Do you know any members? I haven't been in the area for a few years, but members used to meet each week or month in several places. In Manchester they met a Murphy's and another bar down the street. Nashua had meetings each week. And somewhere on the seacoast there were meetings. I guess we need to have a calendar of events somewhere. If you had attended the Liberty Forum you could have talked informally with folks. You should definitely schedule for Porcfest, maybe with Jack Shimek, if not the official group.

I just returned from ten years living overseas.  I don’t really know anyone around hear anymore,  but since the success of probably the only freehold not in the hands of multi billionaires I thought it prudent to return and help my friend promote the idea of freehold living in the free state.  Like I mentioned b4,,  most of the heavy lifting has been done so to speak and now it’s time to share the success of this lone freehold in northern Hillsborough county. The story is quite amazing.  The town has given up to the point of sealing the record in the townhall with red tape and a message to the effect of “ do not bother”. ( we had an old townie go in and find that out).  So again I offer to meet with anyone willing and introduce you to the man as well as allow them to meet with actual people involved with this amazing story.  Also there is a chance to ask questions of someone who has had their house rescued from foreclosure.. The rescued properties owner is also not responsible for property tax as the mortgage company is the actual entity that has contracted with the municipality for the payment of property tax.  The freehold never had a contract for tax payments as it was land peeled off of a larger parcel of land.

hey mike!  I remember you... although all i remember is the name and that you were at porcfest in roughly 2006 where you gave a speech to the tiny group around the fire... and you were in the land of Zhongwen at some point.

this forum like almost all types of forums these days ....is not very active  .  i don't view it that much.  there's a lot more of our activity on facebook and shiresociety.com forums.  the endeavor is still very active, though we could always use more!

not sure how this guy's story affects me since it sounds like a nonrepeatable accomplishment, am i missing something?  are there any links to videos or writeups about him?   welcome home ( or should i say "whah nyeeng?" )  :)

We’ll id like to meet up and chew the fat.  Yea I was over there 我十年住在中国,我很高兴回来我的家乡。 as far as the freehold,, it’s extreemly repeatable and quite simple if done at closing.  The trick is defending against their claim that the land has been “ registered”.  Thanks for your comments and any help in finding other porcupines interested in this will be greatly appreciated.  I’ve left my cell above for anyone wishing to know more.

Sounds excellent, Mike. I'll try to call before long.

How's this for translation?
我十年住在中国,我很高兴回来我的家乡
Wǒ shí nián zhù zài zhōngguó, wǒ hěn gāoxìng huílái wǒ de jiāxiāng
I am living in China for ten years and I am very happy to come back to my hometown

I had help. So how was China? I take it it wasn't as good as your home town.

Did you get my private message?

China doesn't have a Free State Project?

In the private message I mentioned that you can contact other members at:
- Free State Project on Facebook
- Calendar and forum at http://FreeKeene.com
- Murphy's Taproom in Manchester (I think the owner is a member and anyone there can probably tell you what day of the week members come to socialize and when for official meetings)
- FSP Calendar (Click on little triangle at upper right for 3 groups)

Thank you for the potentially valuable info, Mike. I hope you can spread the word far and wide.

And it might be good if you can let us know here of your progress.

You can try calling the number in the first post. I asked Dave Ridley to call him, but I haven't heard back from Dave.

You'll probably find a more receptive crowd at https://forum.shiresociety.com, https://forkfest.party (anyone can speak), and https://mewe.com/group/5ab5ba5d2fbc5476f00e4ba5 (Porcupines).
