Hello all, I only recently became aware of FSP, and I have been lurking the boards for the past week trying to get a feel for things. At any rate, I have decided I'd like to attend PorcFest, and I'm not sure my '84 T-Bird will be able to make the trip. So, I'm wondering if anyone who might be passing through the Hampton Roads, VA area might be willing to offer me a ride. At the moment my schedule is fairly flexible in this case. Barring that, I will be probably going Greyhound. They don't have service to Lancaster and offer alternative stops based on alphabetical match (Yeah, I want to go to a place that *sounds like* Lancaster), but I found these to be the closest stops: Berlin, 29 miles west; Franconia, 26 S; Gorham, 25 E; Littleton, 19.2 SW. In this case I plan on leaving on the 26th, and assuming Littleton I'd arrive around 930pm. Anyone who could help me out in either case would be greatly appreciated. I'll go into more detail about my situation in a less public setting. And, of course, I fully expect to contribute some money for gas, etc. Just post a msg here with any general questions, PM me, or send an email to asherhiggs@yahoo.com. Thanks. A_N

Anyone know of someone going to PorcFest who could give Mike Badnarik a ride up there on _Tuesday_? Monday's he's speaking in West Haven, and Wednesday morning he's teaching his class at PorcFest, but we need to get him from point A to point B Tuesday.
My first thought was Lloyd, but I think he's going up before that....
Hints, pointers, anything you can do to help.... let me know...
Seth

Littleton or Gorham might work .... which one is shorter/cheaper for you?

Google map for West Haven, CT to see where it is... Since we need a ride on Tuesday, you'll likely already be in Lancaster monday night...

FYI, Y'all, Same guest, additional request: Mike Badnarik is going to the NHLA dinner on Saturday evening and needs to be at the Boston (Logan) Airport on *Monday* morning at 10:00 a.m. (can actually be slightly flexible in that regard). He needs some combination of transportation and lodging between those two times. Leads / help appreciated. Email seth or me (I'm at varrin@freestateproject.org) V-

Perhaps I have misunderstood the implication here but it seems to me that NOT everyone has them. Perhaps Mr. Badnarik is among those that don't.Â
Personally, I HATE carrying a National ID card and as soon as I can afford it I intend to hire someone to drive me from job to job. A full time chaffeur/laborer so that I can relinquish my drivers license but still make a living. As it is. I live in my truck, when I go to place a bid or survey a jobsite I need my people to stay busy. It's just not an option. I have mexicans to compete with. In addition, there's still the banking problem to deal with.
