Joel is an expert on world affairs and survivalist issues. His following is about as diverse as this group, there are soccer-mom homeschoolers to objectivists to pro-militia groups hanging around that water-cooler, they share having read something by Mr. Skousen. Sometimes the group is a little loopy, and they like to dwell on preparing for calamities, UN police state/ New World Order/ conspiracy ideas. Most interesting of all related to this forum is Joel Skousen's book, Strategic Relocation, which gives some research and ideas for moving to locations to escape or lessen the effects of upcoming calamities and loss of liberty.

A couple links to Usenet discussions about us. They're not new but are good to read to get a feel for the opposition that's out there. This one is I think at misc.survivalism: FSP Newsgroup discussion link 1 This next one, I believe, is on alt.callahans (i may be misspelling "callahans") FSP Newsgroup discussion link 2 What would be nice is if folks could post more links here to discussiosn which are still active. It would also be cool if we had folks that could follow up with e-mails to people who posted to these threads in support of us but aren't yet Porcupines. Wish I could do everything. |

A discussion about the FSP has started on Guerrilla News Network. There is a lot of anti-gov sentiment over there but they do seem to lean left. There are some libertarians lurking about , however. Go to the forums in the upper right of the screen, then go to the open forum. http://gnn.tv Racer X |

Yeah I looked at that thread. The good news is these folks are few and far between. It does give you a creepy feeling to read that stuff. You've got fans, Jason!  Seems like they want to hitch up to our efforts. Not a welcome thing, for more reasons than one (probably half those folks are federal agents). No doubt inevitable, though. Don't know what to do to stop them. Pretty weird way to look at the world. I tried reading Turner Diaries once, thinking the mainstream press had done their usual hatchet job on alternative ideas. Nope! It was the sickest, ugliest thing I've ever read. I burned the damn thing afterward. Made me feel unclean just to think about it. |
