Fine, I get all that. But how does being a newcomer prevent you from at least VOTING for what you believe in immediately?? Or should you wait to do that too, out of "consideration" and "kindness" to your new neighbors??

By all means vote! It is the stridency of newcomers that long-time residents object to, not their right to vote. At Town Meetings, spend more time listening than speaking. Who knows, you might learn something very useful? Such as a potential ally.

Remember that our strategy is not based on moving in 20K voters, who would be but a drop in the bucket. We need 20K *activists*, who can sway at least ten times their number in yes, voters. I think the non-voters among us are a small minority, but they can still persuade people to at least not vote for the wrong thing, and they can do a lot more besides, as Bookish Lass mentioned.

Bingo, right, Dawn!
And, as I said, there are a ZILLION things people can do FOR candidates, without running themselves!
No one in town is going to give a pair of fetid dingos kidneys if a newcomer to NH is addressing envelopes or designing websites or licking stamps for a candidate. New movers can also put up signs, or evn good sized advertisments for candidates in their yards.. Especially those in prime spots, right near polling places (*cough*Varrin*cough*).

Fetid Dingo Kidneys?
Sometimes you have to read a lot of Douglas Adams to understand what I am talking about, Lloyd... JM

Whoever is functioning as the Marketing/Press Relations Director please contact the LP and have them add a link. Since it's such a standard practice now, I'm sure it just got dropped out in an edit.

I've emailed the webmaster in the past about obviously missing links and I did so once again today after reading the LPPA story. There were three links that should have been there. I also mentioned the obviously lacking link in the FSP article. I wrote as an individual and not as a FSP representative. Brian

Whoever is functioning as the Marketing/Press Relations Director please contact the LP and have them add a link. Is that for ease of clicking or to boost our Google rankings? To boost FSP site traffic (ergo members). Something like a 70% decline in visitors if they can't just click to it.
