[Note: on August 31 the Research Committee decided to include all states under 1.5 million population on the final state ballot - except Rhode Island and Hawaii, which were eliminated outright due to their hopelessly statist political cultures. The 10 states meeting the Research Committee's criterion are Alaska, Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Delaware.]
<P> This is my first post, I think someone sold Hawaii short, each island has a style of it's own , The Big Island is ripe for a libertarian life style and a FSP.

That may be, but since the chain was united as a kingdom prior to its annexation as a state, the possibility of the big island going independent is scarce.

I lived in Hawaii for 20 years, and I can say without a doubt that what it really needs is more new people in the FSP leadership!

You may be right Still, I would be foolish to not test the waters.

Hi Bamboo,
While I appreciate your interest in Hawaii, the FSP chose New Hampshire through extensive research and a membership vote among the candidate states. We are going to New Hampshire. I hope you will join us there.
