If everyone were rich there would be no need for government assistance. If everyone were rich all children could attend private schools. If everyone were rich, government would become superfluous. Read the free e-book at this site:

Introducing myself;

Ed Sanders

603-631-1033

edsanders@edsanders.com

I'm the temporary leader of the White Mountains Region group until one of you who is, or becomes, more local to that area becomes the new leader.
(hopefully that will be soon.)

If you saw the Chronicle piece on Channel 5 from Boston on the FSP, you saw me. I'm the guy with the handlebar moustache and the German army Unimog.

I have a couple of web sites you can go to for some info on northern NH. You can go to this one, there are links to my other ones there too.

http://www.allroutes.to

Please introduce yourself if you are from that area or are thinking of moving there.

There will be a meeting, probably April 19th, probably in Dalton, NH at Glendon's Chowderhouse.

I've got to call Glendon and see about it. Check back here for more details later.

The guest speaker will be Doug Hillman, the VP of the FSP.

NH Dems to Protest against Free Staters

Posted on 06/20/2004 11:12:44 PM PDT by Dada Orwell

http://forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?board=31;action=display;threadid=7190;start=0

Stung by early Free State Project success in the Live Free or Die State, NH Democrats have decided to protest outside a FSP-connected charity event. The "Liberty Dinner" on June 25 is meant to raise tuition money for lower-income students, enabling them to escape government schools and attend private ones. Among the speakers will be New Hampshire's popular libertarian-leaning governor, Craig Benson.

"The governor and the Free Staters share the same far-right agenda of gutting our state government and public institutions," writes protest organizer Chaz Proulx.

Free Staters seemed alternately surprised and flattered to encounter a protest from the Democrat Party at this early stage, particularly one ocurring at an otherwise innocuous charity event.

"Am I the only one who thinks protesting a fundraiser for schoolchildren is a bad idea?" responded one of them on an NH Dems message board.

Initially ruffled by the opposition, Free Staters soon noticed increases in donations and RSVP's for the fundraiser.

"They (the Democrats) probably made $2000 for us," writes Liberty Dinner organizer James Maynard.

I can't help but think that the Kathy Sullivan crowd has lost its marbles. Protesting at a Charity Event? I doubt most Democrats are in favor of this ridiculous idea. I, for one, am pleased as punch they are doing this. Think of all the free publicity! And I have no doubt most NH observers will think badly of the Democrats. Way to go Kathy!!!
