If everyone were rich there would be no need for government assistance. If everyone were rich all children could attend private schools. If everyone were rich, government would become superfluous. Read the free e-book at this site:

I'm interested.  I'm not sure what I would have to do as moderator, and my
time on the website may be limited to 2 or 3 nites a week.

Politically, I'm interested in Carroll County politics.

I visit twice a year, my family has a residence, but I may have found the professional opportunity that could make me jump into NH fulltime.

I am not looking for a moderator so much as for a resident of the Lakes Region who is willing to (physically) lead a local group in that area. Duties include scheduling and presiding over regular meetings, identifying people who will be resources for incoming visitors, handling requests for help and information on the local area, etc.

Better wait for me to make my move, then.  It's still a few months out.

O.K. --here I am, ready to ride and spread the alarm,

to every Carroll County village and farm.

But I'll only be here (Wolfeborough) a few more days.

'Till Aug 15.

Goverment Armed Robbers don't respect your property, in violation of every principle in the NH Constitution.

Please see the Granite State News article, August 12.

Letters to the Editor
Granite State News /
Carrol County Independent

Re: Unconstitutional Conflict of Interest in Proposed Property Forfeiture

“Our plan..is to have it become the property of the Wolfeboro Police Department”, Chief Labell is quoted as saying, regarding the home on Treadwell Lane that was reported to have small quantities of marijuana in the Aug. 12 Granite State News.

The chief, who is charged with, and has sworn to, apply the law impartially, has a clear conflict of interest in this case.

For exactly this reason, the experience with property forfeiture during the Salem Witch Trials of 1681, that we have the Fourth and Fifth Amendments of the Bill of Rights, in the Constitution of the United States of America.  Chief Labell swore an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.  He has violated that sacred oath.

He has also violated his Oath to uphold the Constitution of the State of New Hampshire:  Everywhere you look in the New Hampshire Bill of Rights, you will see the prohibitions on using arbitrary state power this way.  Please see Articles 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, 18, 19, 20 and 33.  In particular, I notice that Article 10 states that government is not instituted for  â€œthe private interest or emolument of any one man, family, or class of men;” which principle is voided if a class of public officials will benefit from misuse of state power.

Also, by delegating certain aspects to the federal Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms bureau, he violates State Sovereignty, Article 7.  Where were alcohol, tobacco or  firearms involved here?

Resign, Chief Labell.
