I'm a 17 year old myself, and I will try my hardest to find a job in the free state after I graduate college...which will be a good while, since I'm only a junior so far.
Oh, and I also happen to work for everyone's favorite boss...The Government, hehe.
I'm a US House Page, if you know what that is...I've basicly just been going to school and working for the House for the past semester, as well as starting on this one. I know what kind of stuff happens on the floor, so I'm a definate supporter of the Free State Project.
So, if anyone has any US House related questions, feel free to ask me over e-mail. I'm sure big brother is monitoring this for keywords, heh.
Long live privacy in America.

I'm 18 and have been working with/on/for and promoting the use/development of Free Software for about 3 years now. I'm willing and ready to move where ever the FSP goes. It's "Freedom first!" for me.

Okay, I'm back posting now. I should have an FSP logo/link on my website soon, but ya know, I'm going to be ticked if the FSP shuts down even if they don't get 20,000 to move. New Hampshire, out of all the states, is No. 1 -- besides Texas of course The only other state I would even THINK of moving to would be NH. And I gotta recruit girls too. I mean, ALL the guys should really. I plan on being single for a looong, looong time. lol Anyway, I'm running for school board in Midlothian (town/district I live near) and need to get some feedback as to which pics I should use for my flyers - anyone wanna help out? Hey moderator girl person, I'm going to post the pics, but they're kinda big until I can re-size them - hope you don't mind. Platform: http://www.joeydauben.com/Issues.htmRegular site: http://www.joeydauben.comI graduated just two years ago, so my name recognition should hopefully come in handy. And oh, I'm a newspaper reporter for an independent/conservative/libertarian weekly that covers the entire county (110,000 pop.). (accomplishments: http://www.joeydauben.com/Newspaper.htm ) Anyway, I just need some feedback. And I'd like to point out that I'm fighting for STUDENTS too! Viva La Resistance!

Yes/no/maybe Well, the new ones show a different angle, but like I said ...I'll have to get those resized. Anyway, other pics/info can be found here: http://www.joeydauben.com/JDPhotos.htmhttp://www.joeydauben.com(sorry if it sounds like I'm full of myself, I just really need feedback and would like to actually win this year) (note: i ran last year and lost in a three-way race. people didn't believe me that i would really run, but I did and got 4 percent - oh well, this year I'm winning it - or trying real hard)

Oh, whee I want to get on in this topic too then. 17 year old, high school Junior, american citizen, currently living overseas. When I move back to America, I plan to move back to the free state.
I too I’m frightened by the overwhelming amount of statists (and since it's an international community, there's even a wide selection of students with communist leanings, that come from those atmospheres) at my school. It scares me to no end to try and argue with them about liberty and freedom, when there telling my India is a democracy where some people would kill to work, and would do anything for a job to just get some scraps of bread.
I go with the usual government bloating spending on things not really necessary approach but Libertiarian ideas seem to be vastly harder to argue once you get into international territory. Plus you've never seen pure evil until you have someone tell you point blank, 100 percent serious, that if we were all ants that couldn't think and just functioned as a group/hive we would be such a better place.
Anyway, yes, that's my little introduction rant Thanks -Koyota

Well, I'm not a teenager per se, but I do have a bunch of teenager friends and this FSP thing -- the more I look at it and read about it -- is the closest thing we liberty-loving "radicals" have to being truly ...well, free. I, too, would like to attempt a move in about three years, given the current economic and world situations; but the problem I would have is actually finding a place to stay -- if I keep up with my newspaper job, I'm sure I could land a spot on one of the papers up there (speaking of, does anybody know of any good local newspapers?) And I have seen some of the college chics that go to NH colleges; geez. Anyway, less talk, more promoting; I've gotta FSP link to put up. http://www.joeydauben.com

I'm 17 years old, a high school junior, going to college in Boston next year. I live in rural New Jersey (the northernmost part). Recently began reading the works of Ayn Rand. I'm interested in Libertarianism and considering moving after college.

Well, I just joined FSP last weekend. I'm an 18 year old high school senior here in TN. I'm going to Virginia Tech next fall. As I see it, the Free State Project is the only realistic answer out there for liberty in my lifetime. Otherwise I wouldn't be willing to leave the sunny South! Every time I turn on the news or listen to people talk politics I get sick and more discouraged about the state of affairs. Anyways, if any of y'all out there are down my way let me know. Hello, I did not see this forum, and I posted in the "new member forum" or something like that. I'm 16; I'm still in high school, but I'd like to get involved with this.

It's very interesting to see so many young people wanting to get involved in this; I always "envy" the Green Party because their grassroots systems are filled with teenagers and college-aged students. To see so many take the FSP seriously speaks volumes of what libertarianism has been able to accomplish throughout this country. We have a lot more work to do, however, before people start really getting tuned in to our level of thinking. But ya, this is a good sign. http://www.joeydauben.com

I'm afraid I have turned 20 and lost my teenager status. But I'm 19 at heart. No way would my parents move. Even though they agree with Libertarian-like ideas they wont budge from their Republican stand. Doesn't make much sense to me.
I would encourage people not too attached to one state, hoping it will win. Especially if it's not Wyoming (and maybe NH).
