Need a place by Aug 20th
« on: June 30, 2012, 10:28:03 am »

My wife and I are in New Hampshire working and have a place until August 20th. If there are any rooms available in the Manchester or Concord area please let me know. I've been keeping an eye on PorcManor but it doesn't look like the forum is very popular. Please let me know if anything is available.

Thanks,
Matthew

I run a porcmanor, but rooms are usually full.  If you need just a place to crash temporarily for cheap, you can stay downstairs, but I don't have a separate room.

We generally keep our listings up to date, but there haven't been too many openings recently, AFAIK.

We're in need of volunteers to help out with Freedom Expo.  PM one of the organizers (like me) if you'd like to help.
"The Free State Project is an agreement among 20,000 pro-liberty activists to move to New Hampshire, where they will exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of life, liberty, and property." Freedom Expo is at Trinity Parish House, Seabrook, April 27, 2013! (right next to the Post Office)

I suggest you check out the Facebook group: Porcupine Housing - Manchester  It's pretty active with a variety of offers.

There are a number of rooming houses aka boarding houses in Manchester. They rent by the week with no long-term leases. They are generally clean and close to downtown. If you are unwilling to sign a long-term lease to rent a full apartment, this might be a good option for you.

Please let me know the phone number or e-mail address - of the PorcManor operator, with that temporary place downstairs mentioned in the post.  This would work for me.  radiomessenger1@gmail.com  Jack Nelson

You should probably send a private message to Max about his place in Seabrook.

Matthew has already contacted me, but my place in Rochester still has an available bedroom at the present (http://forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?topic=25012.0). It's about 1 hour away for someone in Concord, 1 hr 15 min from Manchester, so won't work for most people, but if someone wants to be in the seacoast region (they call it the Northern Seacoast but it actually just borders Maine), it's an option. Probably the most affordable of the 3 largest cities in the seacoast region.

Matt,

I have rooms available in Manchester.  Do you know what you are looking for, specifically?

I am looking for a roommate for my 2-br unit, and have a 4-br unit available:
