New York to New Hampshire
« on: June 24, 2012, 10:01:09 am »

Greetings!

My name is Kay and I'm interested in moving to New Hampshire by the end of this year or early next year. I've visited NH several times and my daughter and I love the free state. Unfortunately, we may have to leave my husband behind for now. I feel at peace when I'm in NH and I'm fed up with New York.

I'll be visiting after the fourth of July, so that I can try to locate housing, meet more people and tour more areas of NH. Can anyone recommend housing? I'm looking for a two bedroom, but I'll settle for a one bedroom for the time being. I just want to get out of New York.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Keep an eye out for one-bedrooms that have offices or sewing rooms or such.  In many cases, there are legal reasons why something might be listed as a "one bedroom," even if there are other rooms which would serve the purpose of a bedroom perfectly well, once you get there.

Thank you for that information. Although, I could use an office. I currently work from home in New York and I plan to continue doing so when I move to NH.

I will definitely keep that in mind. I have seen ads such as the one you are referring to or the like.

Thanks again!
