Is personal secession still an option?
« on: April 09, 2012, 12:25:54 am »

If I were to legally acquire a piece of land (any state), and declare secession from the us, what would likely happen? In NH would it be any different?
Would I be left alone for as long as I stayed on the land.
Or would I likely be assaulted by the feds...

And by own I mean own, not the bank owns it and they just let me use it. People tend to confuse the two...

If you purchase a piece of land in NH... you'd still be under the jurisdiction of NH.

They have this city in Minnesota, i think. But this city declared independence a while back, but the united states doesn't recognize or acknowledge them. As far as the US is concerned, they're US citizens.

Which is lucky for them, since they could be exported.

I think you meant to say "deported".
