My sister has arrived in NH.
« on: June 16, 2012, 12:05:09 pm »

Hi all, my sister made it to Derry where she  will be getting re-certified as a Nursing Assistant over the next three weeks. She's not strictly a libertarian, she's ideologically adrift and apathetic (as I was just a couple of years ago) but she trusts me so agreed to follow me to NH. I left my job in March so I might move to NH ahead of her but as things turned out my employer made me a great offer to stay and work for one more summer so she's actually there ahead of me.

Both her and my 14 year old niece have expressed enthusiasm for learning about guns and shooting, if I recall correctly there is FSP womens guns club although I can't find any information. Any help you could give me in getting in touch with them would be appreciated.

My niece has lost her social network which is always hard on teenagers but her attitude is fantastic and she's making the most of what I know is a tough situation for her.

The last couple of months have been exciting, if somewhat chaotic for us, we've formulated and changed a lot of plans so I've been hesitant to reach out until I knew she was finally on her way there.

For now she's staying at the Hidden Valley RV park but both of us overestimated the size of NH (so small!) so she might be looking for a house to rent sooner than she expected.

Thanks for the info, she'll be in touch as soon as she gets access to the internet. Do you have any suggestions on other opportunities to meet people?

PorcFest is this coming week.

Burning Porc (here in Grafton) is the week after.

There will likely be some shooting at Burning Porc.
