The FSP News Action of the Month is making a glorious return. Action of the Month Reintroducing the Action of the Month. This FSP News monthly section used to exist and it is now making a wonderful return. Every month a specific action will be suggested. The action is technically not endorsed or supported by the FSP, but it is endorsed by Keith and Stuff

You should just stick to the middle link The group is dead, and the community page allows little interaction. The fan page is where its at.

April 2011 Action of the Month The March 24th edition of Stossel ( http://www.foxbusiness.com/on-air/stossel/index.html ) on Fox Business, titled Live Free or Die, featured Chris Lawless of the FSP and Christina Heller, the director of Libertopia ( http://www.libertopiafilm.com/ ), an upcoming documentary about the FSP. Please share this youtube video http://youtu.be/evraJp70CUs. Feel free to post it to facebook, blog about it, tweet it, put it on web forums, email your friends or do whatever you think is best to share the video with as many people as possible. June 2011 Action of the Month Thank you for taking to time to read the Action of the Month column in the past and doing the actions that spark your interest. For June, the Action of the month is special in that it both helps spread the idea of the FSP and is a whole lot to do! Attend the 2011 Porcupine Freedom Festival ( http://www.porcfest.com ) in Lancaster, NH and then tell your friends, family, co-workers and associates about how much fun you had.

Ask three people you know to become a Friend of the Free State Project ( https://freestateproject.org/join ). A Friend is someone that likes the idea of the FSP. If someone signs up as a Friend, it just means that they like the FSP. There is no commitment for a Friend to move to NH or do anything else. Some of you may be scared by the idea of asking someone you know to announce that they support your cause, but the reward is more than worth it. You likely know people right now that support liberty. Maybe they have wanted to be a Friend of the FSP for a long time but they were waiting for you to mention it to them. Maybe they didn't know they had the option of just becoming a Friend and not a full-fledged Participant. Give the people you know that option. Go ahead. Take a chance. Spread the word. Get someone else excited about the FSP and signed up to receive the FSP News by becoming a Friend of the FSP.

All around the country, college students are back in class. Use this opportunity, whether you are a college student or just live in a city with a college to spread the good news around by posting FSP flyers on bulletin boards around campus. Colleges students are one of the most mobile demographic in the US. Additionally, younger people tend to support pro-liberty candidates for political office in higher numbers than most other demographics. There are lots of good reasons to spend a few minutes by sharing the idea of liberty in our lifetime on a campus near you. Here is how to do it: 1. Print flyers, sample flyers 2. Go to a campus 3. Optional, look up the rules for posting flyers on bulletin boards, walls, leaving them on tables and so on 4. Put up the flyers, you may need to use tape, staples or tacks to do this Positives: Proven to work Gets the word out there Can be done by just one person Doesn't require social interaction Can be done with almost no planning (just happen to be walking/driving by a campus) Can be done in bad weather Virtually no risk of punishment Targets one of the more mobile demographics Negatives: Few confirmed recruits via method Requires the use of a printer Depending on college, may need to use tape, staples or tacks, which is an added expensive Depending on campus policy, certain flyers posted in certain places may be against the rules so they may be quickly thrown away The flyers must be replaced periodically BTW, there is a thread with more detailed discussion on this action, http://forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?topic=16490.0
