Boston Dec 8 Outreach Event: Intro the Free State Project
« on: November 11, 2010, 11:21:26 am »

Liberty Drinks Boston will be hosting an intro the FSP event the evening of December 8 followed by beverages at a nearby venue. This is intended to be an introduction to the FSP for people who may not know much about it. If some folks can video the event - wonderful for posting around the internet.

Please fw to contacts you have that might be in the Boston area or importantly, might be able to promote in the Boston area!

Details:

Join us Wednesday December 8 evening for a panel on the Free State Project. We will be joined by a few fellow “Free Staters” from NH to discuss life in the state and the Free State Project. After the presentation we will be socializing at a nearby watering hole.

What the Free State Project is… The Free State Project is an effort to recruit 20,000 liberty-loving people to move to New Hampshire. We are looking for neighborly, productive, tolerant folks from all walks of life, of all ages, creeds, and colors who agree to the political philosophy expressed in our Statement of Intent, that government exists at most to protect people’s rights, and should neither provide for people nor punish them for activities that interfere with no one else.

This is a great event. Be sure to emphasize the difference between Mass (Big Government, big taxes, nanny state) and NH (low taxes, homesteading, no nanny laws, living free) to make the movement more appealing.

Thanks guys. I plan to have our 3 (fingers crossed) Free Staters talk for 10 min then open up the panel to questions from me and the audience. Have about 23 people RSVPd 'yes' and got some 'maybes' so far but hopefully can pick up more (some of them is us!).

Any ideas for good panel questions?

Please promote to any MA people you know!

Oh man.  It would have been cool to go to that.  For me, I'm in Seabrook, so Boston is about a 45 minute drive, eh.

"The Free State Project is an agreement among 20,000 pro-liberty activists to move to New Hampshire, where they will exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of life, liberty, and property." Freedom Expo is at Trinity Parish House, Seabrook, April 27, 2013! (right next to the Post Office)
