Hi All! I'm psyched! I just heard an FSP ad while listening to one of my favorite new radio shows - Schiff Radio: http://www.schiffradio.com/siteI think this is a terrific place for FSP to advertise. It's also a great show to follow. All his past shows are archived and can be heard at his website. The live show can be heard streaming or on terrestrial radio if you're in or near Connecticut.

Last night on the show, (11/15/10) Peter spends a few minutes specifically talking about the Free State Project. He mentions how he almost moved to NH instead of Connecticut because of its low taxes and mentions how if his taxes in CT rise any further, he may reach a breaking point and vote with his feet. He then commends the FSP idea and says a former employee of EuroPacific Capital is moving to NH as part of the project.
Exciting!
If you sign up for premium membership, you can get access to all past shows. He mentions FSP at about 53:55.

That was awesome. He even used the phrase "vote with your feet", which is on the FSP banner ad on the radio show website http://www.schiffradio.com/He also mentioned that one of his employees is moving to NH as part of the FSP... and that he has 25,000 live-stream internet listeners. Sweet.

Good to hear the FSP is getting the word out. Especially on these financial shows.
With radio you try to go where you can get the most listeners, like near New York. However with today's technology I don't see why radio stations can't hire people who don't live in the same place as the station is located. All you need is a quite room, good sound equipment and an internet connection to make you're own internet radio show today, I don't know why radio stations aren't tapping into that.

Most of the big radio show hosts are self-employed and do have their own locations. But I agree if you're talking about radio station employees who do their own show (my local talk station only has 1 local show, the guy also does the local news spots during the day and he needs to understand the local community so he probably does need to live here, the rest of the shows are syndicated so I don't know how much demand there would be for this). The music stations don't even have local hosts, they seem to be rebroadcasting from larger stations in the state.
I am glad to hear Schiff is doing a show - I can't wait to get home and download some of his stuff.

I called into the show today to talk about HB125, taxes, NH legislators' salary, The Pledge, and so forth. Schiff was clearly enthused, and made a point of suggesting people consider moving to NH Audio of the call is here.

I listen to him almost every day and honestly, it was those commercials that kept the idea in my head to look into moving up there and now after discussing it more with my husband we are almost in the planning phase of making the move.

Denis,
Great job with your calls! You are really well-spoken. I think you really surprised Peter with the things you guys are doing in NH. I'm glad you posted here about it.

Looks like it's been postponed due to technical difficulties. Dreepa, do you know the rescheduled date?
