To my knowledge the only disputed land between the US and Canada is a small island in the gulf of Maine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machias_Seal_Island. Everything else has been resolved quite awhile ago. If New England (or any state within) seceded I don't think any land grab would go on with Canada, just the United States.

You mean disputes between the British and Americans. Quebec doesn't look to Ottawa or the British Crown on these matters. Quebecois still speak of the War of Aggression. A secession within NE would result in questions as to claim... but it wouldn't automatically lead to a new nation; which is what is being contemplated.
If the United States committed the 'land grab' then it wouldn't actually be a secession.

Hello from Piscataquis county. Plenty of Freedom lovers up here. You just have to stay away from the coast and SE which thinks it's part of Mass.

I'm just outside of Disgusta...
My sister lives in Tuftonboro and one of my best friends just bought a house near Keene. I at least want to get a vacation property in the near future. A nice piece of land and a small cabin would suffice for now.
Then eventually convince my husband to move...

Sarey,
Were you at the Liberty Summit on the 15th? A small group of us headed up there and I spoke about the FSP.

Unless they decide to keep building ships for their new countrys navy and export them to other countries after the seperation. =0)
War ships are not the only ships made at BIW.

Hey all. Been offline and inactive for quite a few years, liberating myself emotionally, psychologically and spiritually I guess. Travelled around the country. Presently stuck here in Maine as I brought the trash back to family where I got it in the first place. Trying to get financially liberated now. Followed a bit of the Free State Project when it was in it's infancy but fell off the earth for a bit, so to speak. Thought I'd check out how it was going and see if it's something I might be interested in joining. I am definitely in dire need of associating with like-minded people! I'm in Sebasticook County.

Welcome back! The Free State Project is going great. There are a number of us who have moved from Maine. Since you're so close by, you should come visit! Check out PorcFest X — The 10th Annual Porcupine Freedom Festival, Jun 17-23 in Lancaster NH.
