Well, NH isn't going to comply with REAL ID, so I imagine that NAIS would meet the same fate...

Does anyone know what is being done in NH to stop the this? What would you like to see done to stop it? If you have some ideas, I expect that many would be happy to discuss them with you, and see which might be practical.\ Plus, if you post ideas (even somewhat-impractical ones), they may spark a more-practical idea in someone else's mind. NH has property taxes... so every premise is ID'ed. The program has origins in the New England area with a format of it being used here since the 50s.

If you see something bad, and your first response is, "oh my god, I better RUN AWAY", then you are destined to always run.
If you learn to make your first response, "I plan to oppose this in every way possible", and you get active in NH actually doing those things, you will find other people in NH will step up to help you.

Here is a great site on the NAIS. It has everything you need to know to fight it... The Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance http://farmandranchfreedom.org/contentI know, because I am new here, I can't expect you to know where I am coming from, so here is a little background... My husband and I where approached by the Free State Project at two D.C. Ron Paul rallies. They were telling us that the NH FSP was asking for people to move to NH. We gave it a lot of thought and still haven't made a decision. Moving to a state that is so far away would be no easy task. It would mean my husband would have to give up a very lucrative career as well. We thought it would be nice to live somewhere where the majority of the people where not dumbed down, sheepeople. Where we could ban together with other like minded people. Where our gun rights where still respected and where people where still interested in small government. I just want to live somewhere where I can feel safe in knowing that there are others around that believe in the same things we do and don't have to constantly worry about the government interfering in our life. I don't like it when I see military helicopters flying low over our house and the surrounding area on a regular basis. It's quite unsettling. I'm tired of it. My husband and I have been very active in getting the information out. We have been active in our Ron Paul Meet-Up group, supporting Ron Paul and donating the maximum to his campaign. We traveled to several of his campaign rallies. We put out Ron Paul signs everywhere and passed out literature. We worked our polling place for the primaries to promote Ron Paul delegates. By the way, they all got elected! We joined our Meet-Up group in D.C. to protest the Real ID and the NAIS and to talk to our representative face to face. I don't work, so I am on my computer every day posting articles on various sites about the Real ID, NAIS, the North American Union, NAFTA Superhighway, the New World Order, CAFTA, etc, etc. I do talk to most everyone I meet about these issues and pass out, or post flyers on billboards. Ask me about any subject and I can tell you about it. I spent a lot of money on DVDs, like Freedom to Fascism, Endgame, Terror-Storm, Loose Change Final Cut, Police State, Global Governance, GMO Trilogy, etc. I purchased bulk copies of Ron Paul DVDs and Freedom to Fascism and gave them all out. I just bought a DVD burner to make copies of other DVDs to give out. I think it is safe to say that I'm not one to hide or run away from anything. I am just looking for a little peace in my life and a place where I can feel a little more secure, so I can carry on with my life without having to constantly look over my shoulder. Hey, check this out! If you want to stay informed about everything that is happening, ... ___________________________________________________________ Great way to keep up with The "Real" News! Real ID had the problem that it was not individually voluntary... either everyone in NH did it, or no one. To protect those that did not wish it... it had to be no one. NAIS is for those individuals that voluntarily enter the program. This is mostly individuals that trade living animals across national borders (required by the other countries), with high worth show/breeding stock, or large herds were the loss through communicable disease would be financially devastating. In fact, the requirement that an individual register their dog... found in almost all communities in NH is much more restrictive. Dogs aren't even listed under NAIS or other State level Ag programs.

I read this article, now I am having second thoughts about moving to NH. Check out this article and especially the comments... NH Tracking Farm GPShttp://nonais.org/index.php/2006/06/09/nh-tracking-farm-gpsI am adamantly opposed to the NAIS. One big reason why I don't want to continue living in Pennsylvania is because they are such a big AG state and they want to implement the NAIS. I plan on having a small sustainable, organic farm to raise animals and vegetables for our own use.
Does anyone know what is being done in NH to stop the this? Every parcel of property in NH is being GPS'd for E911. Every higway/trail in NH will have a 'mile marker' that correlates to GPS for E911. And utiilities have been GIS'd. Our property is now measured using aerial survey for detailed accuracy. Mine was off by .03 acres...

No one said New Hampshire is perfect, but I guarantee it's better than where you're living now. And it has the added benefit of being backed up by large numbers of like minded people.
Cynthia, I suggest you look into Grafton and what's happening there. I think you would like it a lot. Lots of self-sustaining type people have moved there and more continue to do so all the time.

If the NH brochure isn't just a bunch of lies, then NH will probably be one of the last states.
