Check out porcmanor.com  If you've got a place for liberty activists--or you're offering one--that's the best place to post, IMHO.

We're in need of volunteers to help out with Freedom Expo.  PM one of the organizers (like me) if you'd like to help.
"The Free State Project is an agreement among 20,000 pro-liberty activists to move to New Hampshire, where they will exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of life, liberty, and property." Freedom Expo is at Trinity Parish House, Seabrook, April 27, 2013! (right next to the Post Office)

what we need in NH is the proverbial "underground railroad" where someone can help others get on their feet here in NH by providing housing for a few weeks until they can establish a job and housing. Imagine how many freestaters would be more willing to do that than just go out on a limb by coming here

I disagree. I think $400/month rent is pretty minimal and people who want to move here should make some preparations for their move...before they move. Having 3 months living expenses saved so that you have time to find some sort of employment/income is a reasonable expectation I think.

finding a place to rent before you have a job can be very hard to do because the landlords will want their tennants to have an income

But - there are lots of roommate solutions in the FSP.....the $400/month kind of thing. If you've saved 3 months expenses, you should be able to find some sort of employment and then move on to your own place if that's what you choose. The whole point is that people should probably plan ahead and either have a job before they get here or have 3 months expenses to allow time to find employment.

Minimal? Heh... years ago.I think ltvolt has a good idea: a place to start out from would be a great idea.
