Hey everyone We need outreach at state LP conventions. I know we are covered for a few conventions and they are noted below; but, there are 49 state conventions outside of NH and we need to have tables or speakers at as many of them as possible. We have great news to share at the conventions. More protests in NH, lots of political action with the NH House and Senate, and two wins in the March elections. We also have new outreach materials. We have newer bumper stickers and tri-folders, magnets, bookmarks, and matches. Plus, we have FSP DVDs and new flyers that compare NH to any state. The flyers are still being developed; but, just PM me and I'll send you a flyer for whatever state you want. Also, if you don't know how to get the DVDs; just PM me about them. Here is the info on the LP state Conventions, as far as I know. If you have new information that you want included in this post or are not sure how to volunteer to work a table at a convention, post a message or PM me. However, we don't need someone to do this, "Someone to collect all these event details for the calendar."Â All we need is for people to tell the FSP about outreach events they will soon do. For publicity we are far more concerned about the external events that *lack* coverage. It builds morale to know that our people are active (I highly encourage everyone who mans an event to send us photographs), but no one is going to visit the FSP web site and say, "Oh, the FSP is going to be at Vans Warped Tour--I'm going!" Our site visitors already know the FSP. What we really need is a list of all the LP state conventions, with those lacking FSP tables marked in red.

Well, it's too late this year for New Jersey. I wasn't really keeping track of the schedule, as I'm not a party member. Looking at njlp.org I notice the convention was Feb 25th. I also note that there is a full page advertisement for the FSP in all of the recent NJLP newsletters on-line, and there are prominent links to the FSP and FreeTalkLive on the front page of the NJLP website. Looking at the coverage of last year's convention, I see that Amanda was a featured speaker at the 2005 convention, and Poker Face performed. Maybe I should look into the state Party until I escape this state entirely.

I will make sure that the 4/29/06 New York LP convention has brochures, bumper stickers and the bookmarks placed on their handout table. I will not be there this year though.

More updates. Also, if you work one of these conventions; then, it would be a good idea to write a small report with a photograph, like Steve said.

I'm going to try to man the Hawaii convention. Sad to say, but it will be my first time attending any LP even in Hawaii. I already ordered a basket full of bookmarks and bumper stickers. I've printed out a few hundred of the first 1,000 pledge fliers and a few copies of the 101 reasons to move to NH. If there's any other merchandise I need or porqs that want to get ahold of me, give me a call 8082225351. Off the Hawaii LP may newsletter: http://www.libertarianpartyofhawaii.org/Newsletters%20Archives/newsletterarchives1.htmlOUR 2006 CONVENTION IS UPON US SUNDAY JUNE 4 FROM 9:30 TO 4:30 THE ALA MOANA HOTEL, GARDENIA ROOM REQUESTED DONATION $25 CALL LARRY 262-4088, TRACY 534-1846 or ROGER 489-8652 FOR INFORMATION or TO SECURE YOUR SPOT. SEATING IS LIMITED. There will be a delicious lunch buffet put out at noon that includes various cold cuts, breads, and veggies. Our featured speaker is Judge James Gray. He will speak at 12:30 PM. There will be nice cash door prized available for those coming to Oahu from a neighbor island. Libertarian Party of Hawaii Executive Committee meetings are open to members and invited guests. Please feel free to join us on the third Sunday of every month at the Straub Hospital on Beretania St. Physicians’ Cafeteria. Our next EC meeting will be on Sunday May 21st at 6:30 PM. Those wishing to join us for dinner should arrive at 6PM. Parking is free in the Straub garage after 6PM on Sundays. Thanks, Rob

http://freestateproject.org/eventfinderHelp Marty fill the event finder up. This new feature of the FSP website will help us organize and man events. All the state LP conventions need to be input. Email Marty - events@freestateproject.org and/or Nik - volunteer@freestateproject.org for more info on how to contribute. FYI, I travel a *lot* (for those of you who didn't already know that). I'm happy to travel to LP events on behalf of the FSP if they fit in my schedule and budget. The more that are posted (hence I know about) the more likely they are to fit into my schedule. Send me to work!!! V-

Would be more than happy to staff table at LP convention. I will attempt to determine DTGs and send them to you. Would love pamphlet for Indiana and DVD and anything to start boning up on FSP. The local radio station that carries freetalklive (where I heard about FSP) is having a night with a host at a local night spot on 5 July. I will attend and would like to sound at least somewhat learned on FSP. Any help appreciated. Thanx.

kuban, On the front page of the FSP website, there are links to lots of great information about the FSP. For materials, there's a link to the downloads page where you can download fliers, literature, etc. That's very helpful when going to events! Local groups are a great way to coordinate efforts to man an LP table. Check the local groups page to see if there's something going on near you. If not, start something! :) Email Nik at volunteer@freestateproject.org to help out. And if you need something and can't get a response from the proper people listed on the Organization page (also linked from the FSP home page), feel free to email me. V-

I'd be willing to do something at the Utah convention (if there is one), but only if it's before the cold weather begins. (I drive something that only has 2 wheels and i know how bad the ice can get up north)

We missed Alaska, too. I wasn't up there during the convention, unfortunately. We have an events coordinator, but the LP conventions themselves (much like the Van's Warped Tour) are probably a whole job. Anyone interested in organizing that??? I'm not a Van's kinda guy, but I'd be happy to speak at LP conventions if I can work out the scheduling. V-
