I don't know where you get this idea about me being a conspiracy theorist. Where have I ever advocated a conspiracy theory? Whatever. I don't pay attention to professional sports. The purpose of it is to distract us from caring about events in the real world and engaging ourselves in social change and debate about relevant topics.    Game, set, match. Bye!    --Herself http://weeklywire.com/ww/02-21-00/alibi_feat.htmlAlexander Cockburn once wrote, "Chomsky's greatest virtue is that his fundamental message is a simple one." Chomsky's central belief is that propaganda plays the same role in a democracy as violence plays in a dictatorship. In the United States, therefore, you need to be less afraid of the National Guard and more afraid of the manipulation of information by governmental, corporate and academic sources. According to Chomsky, the elites who control and benefit from the American political system preserve that system by marginalizing alternative political views, selectively reporting on the consequences of United States foreign policy, and creating political apathy among the general populace by encouraging them to watch professional sports and TV sitcoms rather than actively participate in the political process. Chomsky is fond of quoting John Jay, the president of the Constitutional Convention and the first Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, who expressed the conviction that, "The people who own the country ought to govern it." In Chomsky's view, that's exactly what has happened. Due to enormous corporate control of both national media and government, true participatory democracy doesn't have a chance in hell of flourishing in the United States of America.

SNITCHING is not "thought crime"!!!!!!! Snitching is giving in to the State!!!!!  CLASS TRAITOR  I'm against all restrictions on immigration, btw. I once debated a Marxist over restrictions on immigration... stupid authoritarians... I'm also against restrictions on immigration. That doesn't keep me from being against welfare and free medical care for people entering the country illegally.

I'm also against restrictions on immigration. That doesn't keep me from being against welfare and free medical care for people entering the country illegally. First of all, what do you think about NAFTA? Secondly, I don't think it should be illegal for people to enter or leave the country. In fact, I don't even believe in countries, period. I want to abolish the entire concept of "nation." Thirdly, I consider corporate welfare to be a FAR bigger problem than social welfare. If we can build a strong labor movement that is willing to fight for full employment, workplace democracy, a living wage, guarenteed healthcare for all working-class people, and the eventual abolition of the wage system, that will render social welfare programs obsolete. In the mean time, lets be focusing any anti-welfare energy at the real abuse, not the victims of an unjust & authoritarian economic system.

Green appears to be a hypocrite. "For the sake of the workers of the world, smash the state"... except for the compulsory goverment welfare state, which he thinks maybe should not be smashed, just reformed to help poor people a little more and rich people a little less.
Back to the topic of guns, I believe I should be allowed to collect guns at my house and to carry tasers concealed. I believe that every household should have guns, to dissuade foreign invaders, and also in case revolution is necessary. I also believe that individuals should be allowed to form private militias, gangs, etc. and that nothing should be done unless they initiate force against others.

Green appears to be a hypocrite. "For the sake of the workers of the world, smash the state"... except for the compulsory goverment welfare state, Labor unions are voluntary organizations, are they not? Where did I ever advocate a "compulsary government welfare state"? WHERE!!!?? Find where I ever advocated such a thing... PLEASE!!! which he thinks maybe should not be smashed, just reformed to help poor people a little more and rich people a little less. I work for revolution, not reform. What I said, is that if you are going to spend your energy REFORMING government policies then focus on the real problems, not on cutting off the victims of gross economic injustice. Back to the topic of guns, I believe I should be allowed to collect guns at my house and to carry tasers concealed. Good for you. Please just keep them away from me... thanks.  I believe that every household should have guns, Every houeshold? What if I don't want guns in my household? to dissuade foreign invaders, There is no such thing as a "foriegn invader." You are spewing racism and nationalism... In case you missed it earlier in the thread... I'm against any restrictions on immigration. I believe in tearing down all borders, so that no one is a forienger. and also in case revolution is necessary. "IN CASE" revolution is neccessary!!!!!! Oh man, you are funny... I'm pretty sure that a revolution is neccessary. No "in case" there... I also believe that individuals should be allowed to form private militias, gangs, etc. and that nothing should be done unless they initiate force against others. Me and my comrades were thinking about forming a syndicalist militia, in the event of a Fascist offensive against immigrants, unionists, radicals, etc OH WAIT, there already IS a Fascist offensive against immigrants. They call themselves the "MinuteMen."

If you want to form a socialistic militia with immigrants and even radicals in it, go ahead. I would not join it because I am not socialistic, plus I am less than comfortable around large groups of Hispanics.
Just don't initiate force against me, or trespass in my house along with Che Guevara and Zack de la Rocha... it isn't your private property!

OH WAIT, there already IS a Fascist offensive against immigrants. They call themselves the "MinuteMen." Please. They have no issue with legal immigration. I don't want my tax-money going to support people who don't pay taxes. That's theft, free-riding, and morally void. And I have no issue with Latinos. Many are awesome people. Some suck. Just like anybody. Interestingly, the awesome population does seem tightly connected to the growing conservative population.

Green:
Isn't the so-called "Living Wage", like the minimum wage, something that would be enforced by the government? [cf. "Living Wage" ordinances] Or do you just mean a coordinated campaign by all labor unions to collectively bargain for a "Living Wage" from as many employers as possible?
