Time to get back to work
« on: November 03, 2004, 11:22:58 am »

As a relative of mine once said after an over-long church service, "Hallelujah, it's over."

It is with no surprise that we confront this post-election day, knowing that we are in the same boat we were in yesterday and the day before.  The good news is that we already have a plan.

It's time to get back to the work that needs doing: getting to 20,000 members and launching the real fight for freedom in New Hampshire.  Post-election malaise and the new Reason magazine article put us in a very good position to have natural momentum.  It's time to take it and run with it.  I want my freedom now.

The FSP is about uniting liberty-lovers of all stripes.  All we need to agree on is that we have the inalienable right to make decisions for ourselves, and that the best place to fight for that right is New Hampshire.  Let's go.

Sorry to reply to myself, but I'm obsessed with the FSP this week.

To pull a lot of threads together, things that are currently on the burner:

Several shadow ads (and a suggestion to shift some of them to flyer campaigns)

http://forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?board=4;action=display;threadid=8577

Merchandise call - suggest t-shirt, bumpersticker, etc., ideas for FSP store
http://forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?board=4;action=display;threadid=8610

Campus outreach - help jump-start the college network

That's a small selection of the opportunities to step in and get membership numbers up.  Today is the day to start catching folks.  Help!

It is indeed time for focus on the FSP.

More of my people are on board.  2 recruits in two days!  Woo!

Starting local group.  Will have a local candidate for Sarasota City Commission (2005) who is an FSP member.

Regards,
Ian

Kate no one did more, earlier, to sound the alarm bell about Benson than you....

Keep watching things and firing that alarm, next time we better be all ears.

Here's another action-oriented thread kate....more unique and outside-the-box than most of the others I've seen.   I think Jim may be on to something with this.
