Reminder-- As of the last Porcfest, they worked out a deal with Rogers so your campground admission is included in the ticket price. It's a great deal and a lot less hassle.

This is the event in June, correct? I've never been but as I am considering making the move, I'd like to visit for one of the more major festivals.

I plan on inviting two other people with me- we'd be camping. The $65 (per person?) would include camping fees, then? How would I register early? Is there a certain website?

$65 per person doesn't include the camping fee, but covers the whole event. Rogers opens for reservations on March 20. For more info: http://www.porcfest.com

Sorry, I should have been more clear. If you're not a camper, admission is $5/day which had to be paid to Roger's separately from Porcfest tickets. That's no longer the case because Porcfest worked out a deal with Roger's so anyone with Porcfest tickets won't have to pay that. Seemed much smoother since they implemented it last year.

The PorcFest tickets are for attending PorcFest events (the speakers, forums, shows, etc.)

Accommodations (tent site, RV site, cabin, motel, etc.) are separate.

You can camp without paying for or attending PF events. You can attend PF events without staying at Roger's.

Since I have zero interest in the events, and I live 2.5 miles from the campground, I'm happy to pay Roger's the $5 guest pass for the day and just wander around seeing old friends and doing business with the vendors.

Just curious how many people attend this? Any idea how many families? Do people usually stay the whole week?

And does anybody have a camp trailer or RV they want to rent me?  ;)

Do good things!

About 1,200 attended each of the last 3 years. Thursday to Sunday are the biggest days, but also with the most toll on the infrastructure. A good number of people do the whole week.

If you stay on site, you might be required to rent your site for the whole week. Plus, the ticket works for the whole week. If possible, I recommend the whole week. There are a lot less people at the event Monday-Thursday. It is much easier to make new connections those days.

Some people camp at the campground the whole week, but spend several hours on 2-4 of the days exploring the North Country :)

I've been calling Rogers non-stop for several days now.  Does anyone know did they already run out of reservation space?  The number I'm calling is +1 (603) 788-4885
Wondering if anyone else is having trouble or if they simply are just out of space?

Thanks,
Jim

Welcome to the FSP Forum!

Hey Jim. Did you leave a message? I was told they are trying to call people back in the order of voice mails. Here is something the PorcFest organizer said on the subject.

Quote
Rogers Update: While it is taking some time, Rogers Campground staff has placed over 150 sites with PorcFest'ers so far. We are aware of the callback lag time taking a week or more in some cases. They are working to keep the VM open for messages and doing their very best to call back in the order calls and emails are received. Rogers is a private business and one of the only spaces we have in NH that is privately owned and large enough to accommodate. The Lancaster site is still digging out of snow and the Rogers team is booking remotely while they get office setup.

We recognize this is not an optimal campsite booking process, which is partly why we began fully booking and placing Agora Valley on their behalf for PFXII (working smoothly!).
If your 1st choice campsite is taken, perhaps this is a good year to enjoy the adventure of a new placement for ‪#‎porcfestxii‬!!! Who knows what wonderful neighbors you may stumble upon as we work together to ‪#‎triggerthemove‬. Please know that we are thrilled to have you join us, appreciate all your efforts to support this ‪#‎FSP‬ event and will continue doing our best to curate an amazing experience when we all arrive.

1,200. That's a lot more than I thought. Looking forward to 2017 PorcFest!
