I plan to list James Sloane's mostly nutritional remedies for diseases and ailments. Those are largely the best remedies there are.

I want to start with remedies for the most deadly diseases. I had started listing some of them in the thread at:

The following is mostly from http://www.medcapsules.com/info/Cancer.htm . By the way, marijuana is good for pain & for cancer. Walmart sells hemp seeds cheap, in the Baking supplies aisle. Marijuana is best eaten in fruit salads or blends.

Anti-cancer Formula
Most of these herbs can be ordered from a health food store as powders. The first two are most important.
3 parts Chaparral -- 2 parts Pau d' arco -- 2 parts Red clover blossom
2 parts Jiaogulan -- 2 parts Andrographis -- 2 parts Turmeric
2 parts Amla berry -- 2 parts Nettle leaf -- 2 parts Dulse
1 part Myrrh -- 1 part Licorice root -- 1 part Juniper berry
- These are powerful herbs against cancer. All of these herbs should be blended together thoroughly to make the formula. The recommended dosage is 1/2 teaspoon taken 3 times daily on an empty stomach a minimum of 30 minutes before eating a meal. The formula can be mixed in a small amount of unsweetened cinnamon applesauce (or blended banana) to make it more palatable.
- Reduce sugar & carbs to improve immune system & to reduce malignancy.
- Substitute organic meats, fish, seafood in place of non-organic meats having antibiotics & hormones.
- Substitute non-homogenized milk in place of homogenized milk, containing hormones & formaldehyde.
- Avoid aspartame in Equal, Nutrasweet etc, because of methanol & formaldehyde.
- Avoid peanuts, because of aflatoxins.
- Eat mostly vegetables, especially in the cabbage family (cooked), because of anti-tumor effects.
- Eat seeds, because of antiviral protease inhibitors.
- Drink plenty of spring water, or add organic minerals to drinking water, or drink rooibos red tea, because it aids immune system & is low in tannin.
- Various mushrooms have shown strong antitumor properties including maitake, shiitake, reishi, oyster, agaricus, black fungus, enoki, artist's conk & especially turkey tails & chagas.
- Take Suma herb to help get the white blood cell counts up, help cells utilize oxygen properly and help with hormone balance.
- Recommended minerals with meals are:
50mg zinc once daily
200mcg selenium 3 times daily
40mg organic germanium (Bis betacarboxyethylgermanium sesquioxide) 3 times daily
- For vitamins take 2 Amla berry capsules 3 times daily with meals.
- Ozone therapy is the most effective, and one of the safest, therapies for cancer. Only minute concentrations can be used internally, and it must be produced with pure oxygen for internal use. In addition it is recommended that only cold corona ozone generators be used for internal use, and never a hot corona or ultraviolet (UV) unit. Hot corona and UV units are okay for external use only. Some units sold as cold corona units are actually hot corona, so it is important to learn how to tell the difference and to buy from a reputable company.
- The most common triggers for malignancies are microbes, especially viruses. Other common causes of malignancies include chemotherapy drugs, radiation exposure including radiation therapy, and hormones, especially xenoestrogens (contained in herbicides, pesticides, some plastics, dioxins from paper mills, etc.) and estrogen replacement therapy. Many of the so-called oncogenes (cancer genes) have actually been discovered to be of viral, not human, origin. By inserting their DNA into healthy cells the viruses change the chemistry of the cell, and stimulate the overproduction of cellular division hormones.

To prevent Heart Attacks & Strokes by strengthening Blood Vessels take for 2 months daily, and thereafter weekly:
- Amla berries for stable vitamin C (synthetic vitamin C is unstable & deteriorates quickly) at least half hour before a meal (to strengthen adrenal glands and blood vessels);
- Rice bran 1 teaspoon/day or vitamin B complex 100 mg/day with meal (to improve adrenal glands);
- Lecithin granules 1 tablespoon per meal (to remove plaque in blood vessels);
- Magnesium 50 mg/day at least half hour before a meal (to soften plaque);
- Zinc 50 mg/day with meal (to improve digestion & the immune system).
- Fish oils (get mercury-free) will help thin the blood and keep down inflammation that leads to heart disease.

Calories are misleading
There are a number of reasons for weight gain. It is not as simple as calories in versus calories burnt. This is an old but persistent MYTH!!!
Two main causes of Overweight
[Excess] Hormones and thyroid [issues] are the most common reasons though for weight gain. Bitters and sources of B vitamins [e.g. Rice Bran] will help the liver to break down excess hormones. And you can do your basal body temperature to see if your thyroid is an issue. It is a lot more accurate than lab tests for thyroid. Other causes
Various endocrine disorders, congestive heart failure, hormone replacement therapy or hormone imbalances, synthetic "zero calorie" sweeteners, medications, etc. can lead to weight gain. And even weight gain can lead to more weight gain since the fat cells generate estrogen, which in turn generates more fat cells. There is also the issue of a person's white adipose (fat) to brown adipose tissue ratio. The higher the brown adipose tissue is in relation to the white adipose tissue the easier it is for a person to lose weight. A higher white adipose tissue to brown adipose tissue ratio and the person will have a much harder time losing weight.
